Japan

For Japan, we expanded our coverage on Industrial Production with the addition of indicators covering industrial shipments. The dataset is broken-down between:

• Domestic Production
• Imports
• Total Supply

While we already provided the headline series for these three categories, we now also provide the industrial sector breakdowns. As example, the chart below displays data for the IT Electronics Equipment sub-sector.

Israel

For Israel, we’ve added the ‘Selected Rapid Indicators of the State of Economic Activity during the Coronavirus Crisis’, published by the Bank of Israel.

The data sets made available are:

• Credit Card Expenditures
• Public’s Mobility Patterns
• Electricity Consumption
• Trends in the Activity in Cash
• Payment Deferrals

In the chart below, we looked at the Credit Card Expenditures for selected purposes. Expenditures on Travel Agencies and Airlines are slowly rising but remain under January 2020 levels, with travel restrictions still being applied across the world.

Sweden

For Sweden, we have expanded our Foreign Trade coverage from SCB, the Swedish Statistical Office, by adding Exports & Imports data per Country & Commodity on a SITC 2-digits level.
