Support for colleagues and communities affected by the Ukraine conflict

Like many of you, we are deeply worried and saddened by the events unfolding in Ukraine and the heartbreaking consequences for individuals and families on all sides of the conflict.

We have many colleagues and friends from Ukraine at Macrobond, and the majority of our employees are based in neighbouring Poland, which has generously welcomed hundreds of thousands of refugees from across the border.

My priority throughout this rapidly changing situation is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, while continuing to deliver the timely economic and market data and support our customers rely on – especially at such a volatile time.

We are also committed to assisting humanitarian efforts on the ground, including giving employees time off to volunteer with charities such as SOS Children's Villages in Poland, to which we have so far donated €20,000 to support refugees, orphans and other children affected by the war.

No words can articulate our sympathy for the people of Ukraine, Russia and other affected countries. This is a crisis that will ultimately affect us all. I wish everyone the strength to stay safe, courageous and compassionate at this profoundly unsettling time.
