Selection of new functionality

You may now include a subtitle below the main title.

The margin between the titles can now be customised.

Open-hi-lo-close and Candlestick graphs

There are two new graph types called Open-hi-lo-close and Candlestick.

The Open-hi-lo-close graph requires three series (high, low and close) or four series (open, high, low and close). The Candlestick graph always needs four series (open, high, low and close).

When you have selected a company or security in the Browse or Search activity, you will find Actions that will show charts using these graph types.

Automatic color for Fill range

You can now predefine the colour to be used in the Fill range feature via the Style Sheet tab.

Borders for columns in Column graphs

You can specify a border to be drawn around each column in a Column graph.

Settings for the graph area border

There is a new setting that controls on what side the graph area border is drawn. You can also set the border width to None if no border should be drawn.

Time series details in the Search activity

In the Search activity, there are now columns with information about the Source, Frequency and Start Date for time series.

Filter based on frequency and discontinued series

By pressing the Filter button you get access to the filter settings where you can filter based on frequency and select whether discontinued series should be included.

New frequency conversion options

You can now separately select what frequency conversion method to use when converting to a higher or lower frequency. There are also some new methods for converting to a higher frequency: Pulse, Linear interpolation, Cubic interpolation and Quadratic distribution.

Send as e-mail

On the File menu you will find the "Send as e-mail" command, which allows you to send the current Macrobond document as an attachment in an e-mail.

Additional chart image export format: EMF

In addition to PNG you can now export charts using the EMF (Enhanced Metafile) format by using the тАЬExport imageтАЭ command on the File menu. This can be useful if you want to store high quality images of charts that can later be inserted into Office documents.
