New Housing Market Surveys for UKMacrobond now offers the RICS Housing Market Survey.
Macrobond now offers the RICS Housing Market Survey. The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is the professional regulatory body for chartered surveyors, operating in 146 countries with over 40,000 members. Each month the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) publishes a survey of chartered surveyors about house prices and housing stock across England and Wales.
Around 285 chartered surveyors take part in this survey, which asks whether prices have risen, fallen or not changed over the previous three months. Other information given in the survey is the number of homes on chartered surveyors' books and the number of completed sales.
The RICS surveys are available under Economics - by country major > United Kingdom – Surveys – Business Surveys – RICS – Housing Market Survey in the Macrobond Application.
Recently, Macrobond has also added Hometrack House Price Survey to the Macrobond Application. Housing and mortgage research firm Hometrack produces its monthly House Price Survey of estate agents across Britain. All of them answer the same 11 questions on the same day each month. Questions asked cover issues such as: an average selling time, a difference in asking prices (the UK's Leading Property Market Indicators) , volumes of potential buyers registering and properties listed with the agent. One of the questions asks agents to give an achievable selling price for each of the four standard property types (flat, terraced, semi-detached and detached) in every postcode area. This information is then used to create an average property price for each property type. In producing its average house price figures it takes into account available housing stock numbers in each area, however the results are not seasonally adjusted.
The Hometrack surveys are available under Economics - by country major > United Kingdom > Construction & Real Estate > Real Estate > House Price Index > Hometrack in the Macrobond Application.
