The Bundesbank database – now available

Macrobond can now offer the complete Bundesbank database which includes an extensive range of macroeconomic and financial time series for Germany.

Macrobond can now offer the complete Bundesbank database which includes an extensive range of macroeconomic and financial time series for Germany. Bundesbank, being the central bank of Germany, plays an important role in the Euro Area, contributing to maintaining the common monetary policy.

The Bundesbank database contains more than 33,000 times series and covers categories such as:

Banking and monetary statistics Exchange Rates
Business Cycle External Sector
Financial accounts of private and public sector Gold Prices
Public finance IMF Financial Soundless Indicators
Securities Prices
Interest rates Production

The database refers to the German market, but also includes main indicators for Euro Area and European countries. The time series are available at various frequencies, both in seasonally, calendar, trend adjusted and non-adjusted forms.

The Bundesbank database can be found directly in the Bundesbank view. Furthermore, it is possible to view the time series by publications: Monthly Report, Statistical Supplements and Special Statistical Publications. In order to make it easy to find and identify certain series you can also search series directly by the Bundesbank identifier in Macrobond.
