Sales Associate - Hong Kong

Job Description

We’re looking for an aspiring Sales Associate to support our rapidly growing business in Asia and Australia/NZ.

As a key member of our client facing team, you will work closely with our Sales, customer success and marketing teams. Your primary responsibilities will be to reach new prospective customers, cross sell our products to existing customers, build strong relationships with existing clients and ensure they continue to use our products to retain our existing client base.  

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a keen interest in Economics and Finance. Someone who is a commercially driven self-starter with high energy who can learn quickly and thrive under pressure.  We empower our employees to speak with clients early in their careers so confidence and maturity will be key to your success. You will be communicating frequently with senior stakeholders at many of the world’s largest global financial institutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Achieve Sales growth and meet sales quota
• Utilize all available lead generation channels to qualify prospective clients and drive new sales opportunities
• Collaborate with both marketing and sales teams to support successful outreach campaigns and follow up on leads generated by those campaigns
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Take the lead in meetings and negotiations
• Demonstrate the Macrobond product to prospective customers

The Ideal Candidate;

• Has a keen interest in macroeconomics and financial markets
• Has some experience in sales or a sales related role
• Is competitive and commercially minded
• Has Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
• Has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Has native or near native level of English ability

• Macrobond would sponsor the successful candidate for Hong Kong employment visa if necessary
