Join Macrobond, a global fintech that provides a B2B SaaS research system to professionals working with economic and financial data. Sales offices are located in Hong Kong, New York, Stockholm and London, with global headquarters in Malmö, Sweden. Backed by a leading Nordic private-equity investor, Macrobond has the intellectual property, muscle and stamina to become a global leader in this space.

Our international graduate programme gives you the opportunity to live and work in some of the greatest cities in the world. We are looking for motivated economics graduates to join our team of experts who will work with you to accelerate your development. Begin your exciting learning journey at our headquarters in Malmö then relocate to London, Hong Kong or New York after five months.

We will help you focus on building the essential skills needed for a successful and meaningful transition into the professional world of financial services, with data and technology at the core of your learning experience.

Role overview

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will help Macrobond's customers become successful and happy users of our products. Customer satisfaction and retention are your most important key performance indicators (KPI) and you achieve these by:

  • Ensuring users are fully equipped and capable of deriving superior value from our products
  • Designing and implementing strategic plans to facilitate customer learning
  • Onboarding new users onto the platform
  • Facilitating collaboration across departments and offices at both customer and Macrobond sites
  • Building and promoting long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them, understanding and helping to meet their needs
  • Helping to identify market trends and ensuring the knowledge is shared across the company
  • Ensuring cross-border collaboration to align customer expectations across our offices

You will work closely with a nominated Account Manager to identify opportunities for growth within existing customer accounts by identifying additional customer requirements across our product offering.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone with an analytical mindset and a keen interest in macroeconomics. You love how data can be used to inform strategic decision-making and have an econometric mind. Your educational background is perhaps in one of the more quantitatively-minded MScs in finance. But different foundations can also lead to a successful and fulfilling career at Macrobond, such as an engineering degree with strong understanding of macroeconomics / econometrics, a degree in mathematics or actuarial sciences or similar.

  • Interest in the financial services industry
  • Experience working with some of our customer types – either during your studies or just after
  • Knowledgeable about the practical application of Python, MATLAB, SQL or similar for analysing large sets of data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Natural curiosity about finance, economics, societal development and how it all links together to form trends and patterns
  • A strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile when needed.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation

Fully proficient in English; German and Mandarin a plus.
